It’s reported Leicester City are interested in out-of-favour Milan midfielder Nigel de Jong.
The Dutch international has struggled for playing time under new Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, and has not featured for the Rossoneri since the defeat to Genoa on September 27.
The former Manchester City man has been linked with Schalke 04 and Werder Bremen, but Calciomercato is now reporting that Leicester have joined the race.
Former Napoli man Gokhan Inler has failed to impress since joining the Foxes this summer, and the website believes that the club and manager Claudio Ranieri have identified De Jong as a potential alternative.
The 30-year-old is under contract until 2018, on a reported €3m per season, having signed a new deal in June of this year.
