Sixteen fans have reportedly been arrested, three charged and 65 held for identification after clashes between Napoli and Legia fans yesterday.

The two clubs face off in their final Europa League match on Thursday but there were reports last night of trouble.

Radio Kiss Kiss has now reported that the police have told them of two incidents that took place.

The first was in the Capodichino area yesterday afternoon, when Partenopei fans assisted by Bulgarian supporters clashed with Legia Ultras.

The first was in the Capodichino area yesterday afternoon, when Partenopei fans assisted by Bulgarian supporters clashed with Legia Ultras.

It’s reported that seven Neapolitans and two Bulgarian citizens were arrested on the back of this incident.

The second episode was in the late evening in the Garibaldi area, after which seven Poles were arrested and three charged, with a further 65 being held for identification.

Eleven police officers and three Polish fans are believed to have been hurt in the clashes, although none seriously.
