Udinese patron Giampaolo Pozzo claims Antonio Di Natale “will play as long as Francesco Totti does.”

The striker turned 38 in October and has refused to confirm when he’ll retire, saying only that Pozzo knows everything.

“When it comes to Antonio I will only say that he will play as long as Francesco Totti does. Until the Roma captain retires, he too has to keep going,” Pozzo told Sky Sport Italia.

He was also asked about the rumours of taking Simone Zaza on loan from Juventus.

“These are just rumours, but one thing is for certain, a forward will arrive in January. Alessandro Diamanti? If he comes to Udine it’ll be to play regularly and that’s not easy to guarantee with these players.

“The good news is that Duvan Zapata has recovered and next week he will be back on the field with the Primavera squad.

“Fabio Quagliarella? The doors are always open for him, but there has often been talk of his return without foundation.”
