The former Giallorossi defender sustained the injury during last night’s Coppa Italia defeat to Alessandria.
He underwent an X-Ray today that highlighted fractures of the 10th and 12th ribs.
Medical staff will monitor his condition, but it seems frankly unlikely he’ll be passed fit to play Roma this weekend.
