Max Allegri dodged questions on Chelsea star Oscar, refusing to answer whether Juventus were making an approach.

The Coach spoke to Rai Sport after a 4-0 Coppa Italia victory over local rivals Torino.

“The English tabloids write a lot of things!” he replied when asked about the reports of an Oscar bid.

“Juventus have an excellent squad, the club will evaluate if there’s anything to be done. If we do sign anyone, he has to be worthy of Juventus.

“There’s no point just signing someone for the sake of it, he has to fit into the project and be at the same level as these players.

“Now let’s focus on the game with Carpi, who in my view have the quality and characteristics to stay in Serie A, from Marco Borriello to Gabriel Silva and Luca Marrone. I think they are underestimated and so on Sunday it will be very difficult for us.

“It’s also an early kick-off, which is strange for us, and winning away is never easy in Serie A.”
