Giampiero Ventura insists Juventus “did not dominate” 10-man Torino in a 4-0 Coppa Italia result.

The Granata were well beaten in the Round of 16 tie at the Juventus Stadium, the second Derby della Mole clash of the season.

“Our game lasted 50 minutes, up until the moment of the red card and their second goal,” Coach Ventura told Rai Sport.

“Up until that moment we played in a dignified manner, holding out well. It was an open game. After the dismissal, there’s no point even talking about it.

“This will serve as another valuable experience, because you cannot make these naïve mistakes at this level.

“Did Juve dominate? Simone Zaza had the only shot on goal, the word ‘dominated’ seems a bit strong.”

Toro also felt Zaza was fortunate to be on the pitch, as he was already booked and went into several crunching tackles.
