A poor run of recent form and subsequent fan protests has put the Frenchman's position under serious threat.

A 2-0 win over Genoa yesterday helped ease the calls for his head, but Gazzetta dello Sport writes today that he is still up for discussion.

The newspaper believes that Garcia has the support of director general Mauro Baldissoni and sporting director Walter Sabatini, but that Pallotta is ready to sack him.

Garcia's agent Pascal Boisseau reportedly has a meeting set with the Giallorossi hierarchy to discuss his client's future.
