Roberto Mancini denies he and some of his Inter players were involved in a row after the defeat to Lazio last night.

The Nerazzurri went down 2-1 at home to Stefano Pioli’s side, and reports emerged today of arguments in the dressing room during and after the match.

However, the Coach has taken to his official Twitter profile to dispel rumours about a lack of unity in the squad.

“We only lost one game,” Mancini reminded his followers.

“It’s being used to fantasise about alleged and unfounded divisions or arguments in our group. The lads have been great so far, we’re still top of the League!

“Forza Inter, and Merry Christmas.”

The club later released an official statement, commenting on the rumours.

"Inter are top of the table, and simply lost a game yesterday. Tonight normal things that happen in a dressing room have been magnified, resulting in fantasising about things that never happened."
