Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini confirmed Luca Rigoni requested a transfer, “but I don’t want Goran Pandev.”

The midfielder has been frozen out since the Coppa Italia exit to third tier Alessandria, as Zamparini accused him, Enzo Maresca and Fabio Daprela of actively playing against Coach Davide Ballardini.

“Rigoni wants to leave and join another team, but first I have to find his replacement,” Zamparini told Pianetagenoa1893.net.

“He will not move from Palermo until we have sorted out our midfield.”
