Milan are the latest side linked with a January bid for Inter defender Nemanja Vidic.
The 34-year-old has not played this season, as his summer departure was delayed by back surgery.
He is widely expected to terminate his contract with Inter by mutual consent and therefore become a free agent.
He might not be travelling far, as according to the Corriere dello Sport, Vidic could end up on the other side of San Siro.
The Serbian veteran would be used as a mentor to 20-year-old Alessio Romagnoli and help Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic keep control in the locker room.
