Suso says his imminent loan move to Genoa will help ‘show that I’m able to go back to Milan stronger than before.’
The Spanish winger is set for a switch to the Grifone for the rest of the season and is in the city, with only an official announcement now lacking.
“I didn’t have great opportunities to play and I decided to change things for this reason – so I can show that I’m able to go back to Milan stronger than before,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“The derby? Yes, I’m ready, I’m already here, I can train every day with Milan’s permission.
“It’s close but there’s a lot of time for formalising the transfer.
“I already had the chance to come to Genoa last summer, I thought I’d be able to find more space at Milan.
“Everyone has told me that it’s a good team, a good club and I believe and hope that it will be like that.”
