Bournemouth must take up the option to buy “if certain sporting situations” occur.

According to Il Tempo newspaper, that means the Cherries must pay up if Iturbe plays 10 games and scores at least one goal.

As for La Repubblica, they insist the option to buy becomes mandatory only if Bournemouth avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Neither club has disclosed the situation, nor the cost of the option to buy, but it’s believed to be just over €20m (£14.7m).
