Norwich City negotiations with Inter progress, but Andrea Ranocchia turns down the £7m move.

The centre-back was captain last season, but has been bumped to the bench and receives very little playing time.

With Euro 2016 coming up, the 27-year-old is eager for a move elsewhere so he can prove himself.

Bologna and Torino are the most likely candidates, as Ranocchia does not seem ready to leave Serie A.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Inter were more than happy to enter talks with Norwich City for a £7m move, while the player would receive wages of up to €3m with performance-related bonuses.

However, all reports suggest Ranocchia will reject the Canaries in favour of a less lucrative Serie A stay.
