Frosinone President Maurizio Stirpe “switched off the Napoli game because they were too scary!”

The Partenopei beat Torino 2-1 last night and visit Frosinone on Sunday afternoon.

“I sat down to watch Napoli-Torino, but I only saw a few moves and changed channel, because Napoli are so strong that they were scary!” Stirpe told Radio Marte.

“We know full well how difficult Sunday’s game is going to be. At this moment, Napoli are the toughest opponents in Italy.

“On Sunday the stadium will be sold out and Frosinone welcome a side whose results speak for them.”

Frosinone have been linked with a January move for Italy Under-21 international striker Marcello Trotta from Avellino.

“We are considering the best option. The lad is of interest to us, he’s a good player with an important future.”
