Napoli offer €15m for either Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Christoph Kramer or Porto’s Hector Herrera.

Sky Sport Italia claim the Partenopei have identified one of these two as the ideal January reinforcement considering Valencia won’t release Andre Gomes.

The same terms are on offer to both clubs and players, so it remains to be seen if either of these negotiations will progress.

World Cup winner Kramer is the first choice, as he turns 25 next month and has 11 senior caps for Germany.

Bayer Leverkusen are asking for €20m, so there is not a huge difference between offer and demand.

Mexico international Herrera turns 26 in April and only moved to Europe for Porto in July 2013.

He is more of a goal-scoring threat than Kramer, netting four and providing two assists in 12 Liga NOS games this season.

Porto have placed a €25m price-tag on Herrera.
