“The team is learning how to be mature and we’ll see from a game like tomorrow whether we have achieved the right mentality,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“This is a far more dangerous match than anyone seems to believe. At the start Frosinone struggled with the step up to Serie A, but they’ve since won four of their last seven home games.

“If we do not understand the dangers of this match, then we will run into some huge problems. Roberto Stellone is a fine young Coach and an example of the next generation which bodes well for Italian football.

“If we rotate and use players like Manolo Gabbiadini, Dries Mertens or Vlad Chiriches, Napoli won’t be weaker and Frosinone shouldn’t be less worried. It’ll be a battle in a fiery atmosphere and we have to be ready for that.

“On home turf Frosinone have a high tempo, determination and impressive attacking power. They are not always consistent, but can cause problems in their own stadium.”

Sarri remained tight-lipped on their Scudetto ambitions after initially saying it was “blasphemy” to discuss the title.

“Anything can happen in life. Like everything in life, if a team stops improving then it starts regressing. Therefore we have a long way to go. The Winter Champion? It’s a virtual title.”
