“This is a strong side that can aim for far higher positions in the table and Giampiero Ventura is one of the best Coaches on the Italian scene.

“It’s going to be a tricky game and we must show the best Empoli on a technical and physical level. They’ve got fewer points than expected, but won’t be scared little rabbits. This is a competitive side, regardless of their fans protesting.

“As for Empoli, the balance in the first half of the season has been very positive, but there are many hidden dangers along the way and you never know what could happen.

“What I am looking for first and foremost is the performance, then the result should come from that.”
