While Milan confirmed they were in negotiations with Roma for the Little Pharaoh last week, they are not the only side interested.

Genoa have also stepped forward, but Fiorentina are now reportedly contenders for his signature.

The talks with Roma were stalled by the sudden change of management, as Rudi Garcia was sacked and Luciano Spalletti appointed today.

Fiorentina hope they can take advantage of the uncertainty and swoop for El Shaarawy.
