“There are many things we need to work on. For example, our approach was completely wrong today. I realise Antonio Candreva wanted to stay on the pitch, but I needed to make adjustments to the team based also on the changes Roberto Donadoni made.”
Felipe Anderson was on the bench and came on in the final stages, but there continues to be talk of a Manchester United offer.
“January is a difficult time for us Coaches. I don’t know if Felipe Anderson will leave, I only know he is working at his best to give us positive performances.”
It was also an emotional return to the Stadio Dall’Ara, where Pioli was a Coach.
