“We are in negotiations to reach an agreement with West Ham and I am in London to find a solution for this transfer,” agent and brother Rolando Zarate told Radio Bruno.
“It won’t be easy, but we hope to conclude the move by the end of this week. Fiorentina are a very competitive side who always attack and play good football.
“Mauro has the right characteristics to play for Fiorentina. This is why we are talking to West Ham, to find the best solution for Mauro and Fiorentina.
“Mauro wants to leave London and he really likes the idea of playing for Fiorentina. He is playing regularly for West Ham, so they don’t want to let him go, but his desire now is to play for Fiorentina.”
