Carpi have announced the signing of full-back Stefano Sabelli from Bari, on loan with the right to buy.
The 23-year-old is an Italy Under-21 international and a product of the Roma youth academy.
He has scored once and contributed three assists in 23 appearances for the Serie B club this season, but is yet to feature in Serie A in his career.
The club revealed that the deal has been structured so that the right to buy will become an obligation to buy if the Biancorossi avoid relegation this season.

“The player arrives on loan with the right to buy, which will become an obligation if the Biancorossi stay in Serie A.
“Sabelli, who’s already available to the Carpi staff, will wear the number 2 shirt.”
