Roma President James Pallotta has already seen “a strong change in the work ethic” under Luciano Spalletti.

The patron axed Rudi Garcia last week and, although Spalletti’s debut was a 1-1 draw against rock bottom Verona, he remains confident.

“I am not worried by the short-term results,” Pallotta told the Corriere dello Sport.

“I am sure we will get back to being a fantastic team. There has been a strong change in the work ethic over the last 10 days and I am certain we’ll reap the rewards.”
