Franco Vazquez says ‘I’d like to play with Paulo Dybala again’ but ‘first I’ll save Palermo’.
The Italy international appears almost certain to leave Sicily at the end of the season, with suitors including Milan, Inter and Dybala’s Juventus.
The attacking midfielder spoke openly about his future today, as well as targeting a place in Italy’s Euro 2016 squad.
“For now I must think about keeping Palermo up, then one day I’d like to play with Dybala again,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He’s a friend and we did great things together at the Rosanero.
“The national team? Of course I’m hoping for a call up. I respect Conte’s choices but I definitely want to wear the Azzurri shirt again.
“Schelotto? He doesn’t need advice from me, he’s a leader and wants to make his mark.
“My future? First I’ll save Palermo and then we’ll see. I can’t decide whether I go to Juventus, Milan, Inter or another big team.
“I don’t know what will happen, but Zamparini will do the best for the team.
“My heir? I’d say Quaison.”
