Levante have officially signed Joan Verdu from Fiorentina for an initial six months.
The 32-year-old has struggled for game time this season, making only five league appearances, and his Viola contract was due to expire in the summer.
The La Liga outfit, who also signed Giuseppe Rossi from Fiorentina earlier this month, announced Verdu’s arrival with less than half an hour left of the transfer window.

“The Catalan player arrives for free after rescinding his contract with Fiorentina.”
