“We know Guillermo Barros Schelotto well. In 2005 he underwent treatment at Milanello with us. In 2003, however, he beat us in the Intercontinental Cup Final with Boca Juniors,” Galliani told Mediaset Premium.

Adriano Galliani admits “I too am curious to see how Milan do” against Palermo after the Derby della Madonnina triumph.

It kicks off at 19.45 GMT, follow the action from all NINE Serie A games on our LIVEBLOG.

“We know Guillermo Barros Schelotto well. In 2005 he underwent treatment at Milanello with us. In 2003, however, he beat us in the Intercontinental Cup Final with Boca Juniors,” Galliani told Mediaset Premium.

“I don’t know what to expect tonight. On other occasions we’ve done well and then didn’t confirm that in the next match. I see many ups and downs within the same game, so I too am curious to see how we do.”

“Keisuke Honda? He’s very intelligent and often comes to see me. The Japanese say what they think, not like Italians! Either he plays in his current position and complains, or he doesn’t play. I think players must adapt to the ideas of their Coach and the smartest ones adapt to roles with less competition.”

There had to be a comment on Ernesto Bronzetti, the legendary FIFA agent and transfer guru who died this week and regularly worked with Milan.

“I’ve been very sad since Ernesto died. I’d spoken to him on Saturday and on Sunday evening he asked his daughter to send me a text message saying he was happy. After that message, he fell into a coma.

“The last images he saw were those of the derby and I hope they made him feel a little less pain. It is really hurting me, as I’d known my dear friend Ernestino since 1983.”
