Gazzetta dello Sport reports today that Milan will make fresh attempts to sign Vazquez at the end of the season, after having followed him last summer.

The newspaper says that when vice-President Adriano Galliani was asked about the potential signing, he simply said ‘We will see’ with a smile on his face.

However, Gazzetta warns that a potential obstacle is Rosanero President Maurizio Zamparini’s valuation of the attacking midfielder at €30m.
