Lazio’s Abdoulay Konko is reportedly unlikely to sign a contract renewal and could be replaced by Chievo’s Fabrizio Cacciatore.
French right-back Konko’s current deal expires this summer and Tuttomercatoweb reports that it’s unlikely he will be offered an extension.
The outlet believes that Chievo’s Cacciatore has been targeted as a replacement and that the club began evaluating the Italian during the January market.
Konko has a long history of injury problems, but has made 113 appearances for the capital club since joining in 2011.
Chievo signed Cacciatore from Sampdoria last summer after a successful loan spell and the 29-year-old has made 17 appearances for the Bentegodi outfit this season.
