Lippi: ‘Never any Milan talks’

Former Italy CT Marcello Lippi reiterates he “never had any contact with Milan”.

It was rumoured earlier in the season that the former Juventus and Inter Coach was being lined-up to replace Sinisa Mihajlovic on the Rossoneri bench until the end of the season.

The Diavolo’s form has picked-up in recent weeks, relieving the pressure on Mihajlovic, and Lippi tells Sky he was never a candidate for the job.

“I never had any kind of contact with Milan. Ever.”

Lippi has been without a job since leaving Guangzhou Evergrande in 2014, but has admitted that he’s looking to get back into Coaching.
