Torino's Afriyie Acquah was diagnosed with a thigh strain and will be out for almost one month, as communicated by the club.

The 24-year-old was forced off the pitch last Wednesday in the game against Sampdoria after being hurt in his left leg.

It seems the issue is more than just a superficial injury, as communicated by Torino themselves in a statement released today.

“The MRI that Acquah underwent today revealed a first-degree lesion to the adductor longus muscle of his left thigh,” reads the statement.
