Milan are in talks for River Plate €10m rated defender Emanuel Mammana after Fiorentina’s move collapsed.
The 19-year-old is considered one of the brightest young players in Argentina and has already become a key figure at River Plate.
According to Tuttosport, the Rossoneri are now in negotiations for Mammana and hope to get a discount on the €10m asking price.
Milan already have a deal in place to sign River wide attacker Leonel Vangioni as a free agent over the summer.
Fiorentina had seemingly agreed terms with Mammana over the January transfer window, but the talks collapsed in bitter circumstances.
River accused the Viola of changing their offer, while Fiorentina hit back at the Argentine’s negotiation tactics.
