Lazio saw their appeal against a partial stadium closure rejected after racist chants at Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly.

The FIGC today rejected the appeal put forward by Lazio, who had claimed the insulting chants were not racist in nature.

They occurred during the 2-0 Napoli victory on February 3 at the Stadio Olimpico.

The €50,000 fine and bans locking down the Curva Nord, Distinti Tevere Lato Nord and Distinti Monte Mario Lato Nord sections therefore stand.
