DC United are reportedly renewing the offer for Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino after telling Orlando City to back off.
The former Italy international is heading to Major League Soccer after being told he has no future at San Siro, but negotiations have so far hit a brick wall.
It’s widely reported Nocerino turned down DC United, preferring instead to reunite with his ex-Milan teammate Kaka at Orlando City.
However, Sportmediaset now claim DC United complained to MLS, who in turn urged Orlando to back off until talks with the first club have definitively been abandoned.
DC United filed a claim to discovery rights last month, so Orlando can be ordered not to engage in talks until MLS gives the all-clear.
Orlando were already fined last summer for violating the tampering policy.
