Midfielder Felipe Melo praises Inter’s mindset – “we want to win at all costs”.

The Nerazzurri have won just once in their last six Serie A games, falling 12 points off the Scudetto pace, but the Brazilian is sure that mentality is not the issue.

“We want to win at all costs, we’re all together,” Melo explained to Calcio2000.

“I’ve played for a lot of teams, and I haven’t always found this mindset. I’ve been at clubs where, even if you lost, it was accepted.

“In Milan though, only winning counts.

“Can we still win the Scudetto? We’re there. When I first came to Italy [with Fiorentina] there wasn’ this balance at the top.

“Now a lot of teams are fighting to win, it’s much better like that.”

Melo was also asked for the best players he’s played against, as well as his strongest teammates.

“Opponents? [Lionel] Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. That’s easy. They’re really strong.

“In terms of teammates I’d say Miranda, he’s number one, and Amauri another crazy striker.”
