Nicola Sansone cancelled out a Valter Birsa penalty, extending the Neroverdi’s winless streak.

“I am angry because we create so much and are unable to finish it off,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“It’s a shame, the team played largely the way I wanted it to, but we weren’t clinical enough. We always play with three forwards, so maybe next time I’ll use eight and we’ll see what happens.

“I expect more consistency in front of goal, otherwise we risk losing games that we’ve dominated. I don’t think it’s an issue of complacency, we just can’t seem to score goals at the moment.

“I knew this match could represent the turning point of the season. Unfortunately at times we ought to be less pretty and more clinical.”
