Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini says he’s ‘sorry Paulo Dybala didn't join Milan’ as he’s ‘more a friend of the Rossoneri than Juventus’.
The Argentine forward has excelled since signing for the Bianconeri, but was the subject of a €40m bid from the San Siro outfit as well, according to the Rosanero owner.
He also touched on the subject of Franco Vazquez, whose future Gazzetta dello Sport wrote today depends on who will be Milan Coach next season, what system they will play and the price set by Palermo.
“I spoke to Berlusconi a week ago, I’ll see him now in Rome,” Zamparini said to Radio 2.
“Did I talk about Vazquez? It may well be…
“What price could Milan buy him for? I don’t set prices. Berlusconi expressed his disappointment at not managing to sign Dybala, he offered €40m in cash, but the player’s agent had already agreed with Juventus.
“I was sorry not to give him to the Rossoneri, because I’m more a friend of Milan than Juventus.”
