Tuttosport reports today that the two clubs’ Presidents, Erick Thohir and Massimo Ferrero, will meet this afternoon to discuss Soriano and other transfer activity.

The newspaper believes that the San Siro giants want to avoid an expensive bidding war with the likes of Napoli and Milan this summer and are therefore in a hurry to reach an agreement.

Samp value the Italy international at €15m, but the outlet believes the Nerazzurri could bring this figure down by inserting players like on-loan pair Dodo and Andrea Ranocchia into the deal.

However, the suggestion has also been made that the sale of Croatia international Brozovic could fund the move.

The newspaper believes that Arsenal came in for Brozovic last month, but Inter decided to tie him down and sell Fredy Guarin instead.

However, the situation could change as the €20-25m it would reportedly require for Arsenal to sign Brozovic would allow Inter to afford the buyout clauses of several players as well.
