Cristian Zapata enjoyed his battle with Napoli and Gonzalo Higuain. “When I’m concentrated, nobody can get past me.”
The Milan defender only started this evening’s 1-1 draw at the Stadio San Paolo because Alessio Romagnoli was ill, but kept Capocannoniere Higuain very quiet.
“When I’m concentrated, nobody can get past me,” the Colombian told Sky Sport Italia.
“When I make a mistake, I am the first to get really downhearted, but I have to maintain concentration for 90 minutes and I’m working on it. I am improving.
“I am training well and always ready when the Coach needs me. We must continue like this because there’s a long way to go and we have to climb the table.
“This Milan can make it to third place. We have to improve our play and move the ball around more, but we are on the right track.”
