Milan’s M’Baye Niang could reportedly face up to two months out through injury after his car crash on the weekend.
The Rossoneri released a statement yesterday confirming that the forward had hurt his ankle and shoulder after an accident in the early hours following the 1-0 win over Torino on Saturday.
Gazzetta dello Sport has given more details on the incident today, writing that the 21-year-old lost control of his Audi due to the heavy rain in Milan over the weekend.
Niang is believed to have been eating in a restaurant with his girlfriend before heading off to go bowling around 1.30am, when he lost control and smashed into a wall.
The police tested the youngster for alcohol but he was cleared, although the news doesn’t look good for his recovery time.
Gazzetta believes that although there is still no certainty about how long Niang will be out, it appears likely that he could face up to two months out.
The forward will reportedly fly to Amsterdam next week for medical tests, when the length of his spell on the sidelines will become clearer.
