“Unfortunately there aren't many positives to take away from today's game,” Colantuono told the Press. “It's a shame, because in the game before this one we did great. We clearly lack continuity.

“I chose our formation to try and address that problem, but it didn't work. The problem isn't the formation, because we did poorly in both versions we tried.

“The numbers say that we have one of the worst attacks in Serie A, but we create at least four chances per game. The problem is that we harvest far less than we sow.

“Frosinone were what we expected them to be before the game, a team with a lot of drive and a lot of grit.”
