Milan are considering four candidates to replace Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, starting with Sassuolo's Eusebio Di Francesco.
The Neroverdi's game against the Rossoneri, won 2-0 by the hosts, was acknowledged to be about both teams' coaching future as well as about the results.
With Di Francesco's victory, Calciomercato.it confirms that he is now in pole to relieve Mihajlovic of his duties. Di Francesco has a substantially less costly squad but is only three points away from the Diavolo and may earn qualification to the Europa League.
The other alternatives that are being considered include Bologna's Roberto Donadoni, Sevilla's Unay Emery, and free agent Marcello Lippi, who would be assisted by current Primavera Coach Christian Brocchi.
