Roma’s teenage striker Umar Sadiq “was approached by Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund,” confirmed his agent.

The reports emerged this weekend in Italy that the Gunners had a €13m offer turned down for the 19-year-old Nigerian.

“Yes we have been approached by Arsenal, but they are not the only team that have signify interest in Sadiq as Borrussia Dortmund are also pushing for him,” Mohammed Lawal told owngoalnigeria.com.

The Nigerian talent only just turned 19 last month and has been a sensation at the Primavera youth team level.

This season he scored five goals in nine UEFA Youth League games, plus another 11 in seven matches in Italy.

He was already given his Serie A debut this term, scoring twice in six appearances.
