“We are very satisfied with what we’ve done so far in this season. We had 24 shots against Chievo and 19 this evening, while we had more possession this evening too. We dominated the match.
“We are three points behind a Juventus side that picked up 55 points out of an available 57 since October, but if the Bianconeri continue at this tempo then there’s little we can do.
“It wasn’t easy against Palermo, a complicated match, as they wanted to react to all the recent events with the change of management.
“At times we were too sluggish in our passing and could’ve finished the game off earlier.”
Sarri had particular praise for Jorginho in the Napoli midfield.
“He has improved so much in terms of character. Tonight he had 167 touches. I’ve seen pages and pages of praise written for players who had 70 less per game.
“I was glad to keep a clean sheet tonight, as we had always made some mistakes in the last few games and eradicated them. This evening we reached 64 points in the table, one more than Napoli had at the end of last season.
"Are we feeling too much pressure? If anything my players are too relaxed. I told them in training this week they were laughing and joking while exchanging passes, but do they realise we are second in the table? It's important to play beautiful football, but we should try to finish games off too."
