New Coach Walter Novellino says Palermo must 'get rid of anxiety' and welcomes his 'great opportunity'.

The Rosanero lost 1-0 to Napoli yesterday evening, but their new boss keeps a positive outlook nonetheless.

“I have a great opportunity again, and I was really driven to come back,” he told Radio Anch'io Lo Sport. “This is isn't a fortunate moment, but I have players of great quality and we must get rid of this anxiety.

“In the end we only conceded a goal on a penalty. Right now there's no point in thinking about next year.

“There are many foreign players, but at the moment I have to field the team that I like best and get everyone to understand me. I need to work on the psychological aspect.

“On the penalty, the foul was originally [Raul] Albiol's, but he was smart and allowed himself to be dragged to the ground.

“But when it comes to the Scudetto, I think Juventus have something more than Napoli. I wouldn't forget about Roma though.

“Zamparini? You've got to know how to deal with him, he needs to let things out of his system.”
