Italy legend Tarcisio Burgnich wants “shameful” Antonio Conte to be replaced before Euro 2016 after announcing his exit.
The Coach has already confirmed he will leave the Nazionale after this summer’s tournament, almost certainly to join Chelsea.

“It is shameful,” former Azzurri star Burgnich told Tuttomercatoweb.
“A player in the Nazionale needs to have faith in the Coach. If he doesn’t and knows the Coach is already set to quit, then the player will work for himself and not for the team.
“It was a mistake to announce the news now. When you win, you win with the team and players who are enthusiastic.
“If it was up to me, we’d replace Conte right now. We need a Coach with character, someone with cojones. Fabio Capello wouldn’t kid around.
“As for Euro 2016, I don’t think Italy have players capable of making the difference on their own, so we need a team that works as a unit.”
