Jeremy Menez reportedly refused to play for Milan against Lazio and had to be persuaded.
The French striker was subbed in at the 84' of yesterday's game, which the Rossoneri would end up drawing 1-1.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Menez was showing remarkable indiscipline and was refusing to warm up for the game.
Eventually he had to be persuaded by Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic's right-hand man, Nenad Sakic.
“There's still a quarter of an hour to go, not just one minute,” Sakic is believed to have told the player, even though Menez ended up playing less than ten minutes.
Mihajlovic is also believed to have commented on the situation with his close associates.
“If he doesn't want to play, I'll take care of him,” he said, as reported by La Gazzetta.
