Maurizio Zamparini “would be happy” if Franco Vazquez joined Milan but “two English clubs” are interested.
The Italian international has provided five goals and seven assists in a struggling Palermo team, and seems almost certain to move on in the summer.
Rosanero President Zamparini admits he’s keen to see his star man make the move to San Siro, but warns the Rossoneri not to hang around.
“There are two or three teams asking for him,” Zamparini explained to MilanNews.
“The first team to ask decisively will get him, if the player agrees. There’s been a request from [Milan CEO Adriano] Galliani, I’d be happy if he went to Milan because I have an excellent relationship with [President Silvio] Berlusconi and Galliani.
“There’s nothing new, there are two English clubs that I’ve heard from and they’ve asked for a meeting after Easter.
“We’ll see, for now it’s still early.”
