According to today’s edition of the Italian paper, Real Madrid centre-forward Benzema is the kind of big-name player President Erick Thohir thinks can help raise the profile at San Siro.

The 28-year-old is expected to leave Real Madrid this summer, as he is struggling with a series of off the field legal problems.

He has also been frozen out of the France squad ahead of Euro 2016 due to these investigations and it’s bound to affect his price-tag.

Despite all of that, Benzema has still scored 24 goals in 26 competitive club games this season.

Inter would only go for him if they had to sell Icardi, who has been heavily linked with Atletico Madrid and Chelsea.
