Gazzetta dello Sport reports today that Mancio’s future will be uncertain if they fail to reach Europe’s premier club competition.

The tactician currently has a deal at San Siro until 2017, but without the income generated by reaching the Champions League it will be difficult for him to strengthen the squad.

The newspaper writes that this could offer an escape route to Mancio, with Arsenal and Zenit St Petersburg the most likely destinations should he decide to leave.

Gazzetta believes that there aren’t many free posts among Europe’s top clubs, but that the English and Russian sides represent the most likely options at the moment.

However, potential foreign investment in the club could reportedly see the Coach remain as fresh capital could allow the club to limit their sales to only one top player and construct a transfer campaign around more than just free transfers.
