Mario Balotelli could start in Milan-Juventus, while Paulo Dybala and Sami Khedira seem doubtful.
The 25-year-old hasn't been in great condition since returning from injury in January and still hasn't notched a goal this year.
Even so, La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is thinking of fielding him as a starter in the big match against Juventus next Saturday evening.
In spite of his notorious indiscipline, the striker provides Mihajlovic with the kind of tactical unpredictability that may trouble the Bianconeri.
It will all depend on the player's condition of form, and on the drive that he shows this week during training.
Mihajlovic will make his final decision on Saturday, just before the game. He also has to deal with the injury of Riccardo Montolivo and the doubtful condition of form of Juraj Kucka. The two midfielders may not be able to make the game.
Juventus have several injuries to confront as well, starting from star striker Paulo Dybala, who reported muscular trouble after his international duty with Argentina.
The 22-year-old continues his recovery and is reportedly optimistic that he will make the game, but nothing will be decided before the weekend.
Sami Khedira is also an uncertainty. The German midfielder is healthy, but is still serving a two-match ban.
Juventus appealed the ban and may have the penalty reduced to one match, allowing him to play against Milan, but a verdict won't be reached until Friday.
