Fiorentina fans will boycott this Sunday’s Tuscan derby with Empoli, in protest at ticket prices.

The Viola travel to Stadio Carlo Castellani for the early kick-off, looking to keep alive their slim hopes of Champions League qualification.

Tickets for the away sector are priced at €30, with no discount tickets available in the Curva Sud for women, children or the elderly as often the case in Serie A.

Tickets in the Tribuna Laterale are also available to Fiorentina fans, priced at €35, or €25 for women, under-14s and over 60s.

“The stadium has to be something that is open to everyone, not a privilege for the few,” the Curva Fiesole ultras announced in a statement on their Facebook page.
